Lepelle-Nkumpi Local Municipality has reaffirmed its commitment to driving local economic growth by actively participating in the 5th Limpopo Investment Conference, held at The Ranch.

During the closing session, Premier Dr. Phophi Ramathuba announced R170 billion in investment pledges aimed at accelerating economic development across the province. The Premier urged municipalities to intensify their participation in building the provincial economy and to expand initiatives that foster sustainable development.

From 04 - 05 September 2025, Lepelle-Nkumpi Local Municipality Mayor, Dr. Meriam Molala, hosted a two-day Makgoshi Forum at Bela-Bela's Forever Resort.
